Free Trial
Every new organization starts with a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan. During the trial:
- All Pro features are available
- No credit card required
- A banner shows the remaining trial days
If you don't add a payment method before the trial ends, your organization reverts to the Free plan.
How Billing Works
Pro plans are billed per active user per month. Each plan has a minimum number of billed users (see the table above). If your team is smaller than the minimum, you're billed for the minimum instead.
Example: On the Teams plan with 4 active users, you'd be billed for 6 users (the plan minimum), so $8.99 x 6 = $53.94/month. If you have 8 active users, you'd be billed for 8.
Active users are team members with an active membership. Deactivated users don't count.
Seat sync is automatic. When users join, leave, or get deactivated, the subscription quantity updates immediately.
Choosing a Plan
- Free: Perfect for solo users or trying out the platform
- Starter: Small teams (1-5 users) that need unlimited entries and AI
- Teams: Mid-size teams (6-10 users) that want volume pricing and unlimited AI
- Business: Larger teams (11+ users) with the best per-user rate and dedicated support
Payment
Hourli.ai uses Stripe for secure payment processing. We accept all major credit and debit cards. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card numbers.
To add a payment method:
- Go to Manage → Billing
- Click Add Payment Method
- Complete the Stripe checkout form
- Your card is saved for future billing
Changing Plans
- Go to Manage → Billing
- Select a different plan
- The change takes effect immediately
When upgrading, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period. When downgrading to Free, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.
